To Internet Shopper,
If you are internet shopping for a new Nissan, you can not have a better online buying experience than I had at Ocala Nissan. There is a reason why I was willing to drive almost three hours from Fernandina to purchase my new truck.
First, I had spent about two weeks trying to purchase a new Frontier through the internet locally with no success. Dealers would not quote me over the internet, were not willing to try to locate the vehicle I was looking for, wanted to charge me what I considered to be excessive add on costs, offered me no clue as the value of my trade-in, etc.
I then decided to broaden my search and began looking at dealerships as far south as Orlando and as far north as Brunswick. I found Ocala Nissan through my search and began internet shopping with them. The experience met my needs in many ways.
First, I was able to locate the vehicle I wanted by an online search of their new vehicle inventory. Next, I was able to initiate the buying process by entering an inquiry on their website asking for a price on the vehicle. Shane Smith, their internet sales manager, replied promptly with an email quote and a phone call. Through correspondence via a few emails we were able to agree on a price. Finally, I was able to use Ocala Nissan's online used car appraisal service to obtain a fair idea of the value of my trade in.
Having all of this information beforehand, i.e. the cost of the vehicle, a price range on my trade-in, and an appointment to see the vehicle, made the entire experience pleasant. I did not have to compare all of the various packages and add-ons to make sure I got what I wanted. I did not have to sit and haggle over price. My wife and I had an opportunity to test drive the vehicle while they evaluated my trade-in. We were offered refreshments while we finalized price. The dealer prepped the vehicle and filled the gas tank while we completed all of the paperwork, financing, etc. We completed the entire process in just a little over two hours.
In closing I will tell that I have purchased my last four vehicles via the internet and found Ocala Nissan's service exceeded my expectations. They took the hassle out of buying a new vehicle. I should probably also add that I love my new truck!
